You can delete your Diboru account and data at any time — inside the app, or by asking us. This page explains how, and what happens to each kind of data.
Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open Diboru and go to Profile → Account & sign-in.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
- If asked, confirm it’s you with your password or with Google.
Your account is deleted straight away, and Diboru’s database and settings on that phone are wiped.
Can’t open the app? Ask us
Send an email to admin@diboru.app from the email address of your Diboru account, with the subject “Delete my Diboru account”. We may ask you to confirm the request so nobody else can delete your account. We’ll delete it and confirm within 30 days (usually much sooner).
What gets deleted
- Your account: email address, first name, user ID and sign-in methods (Firebase Authentication).
- On the phone where you delete: cycle log, journeys, badges, birth date and settings.
- Student verification data, if any.
What isn’t deleted automatically
- Other phones: data stored on another device stays there until you delete the app’s data or uninstall Diboru on that device.
- Health Connect: records Diboru wrote to Health Connect (period flow), and data from other apps, stay in Health Connect. Remove them in Settings → Health Connect → Data and access.
- Your Diboru Plus subscription: deleting your account does not cancel it. Cancel in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Diboru.
- Purchase records that Google Play or we must keep for accounting and tax laws are kept only for the legally required period.
Guest mode
If you used Diboru without an account, nothing is stored on our side. Uninstall the app or clear its storage (Settings → Apps → Diboru → Storage → Clear storage) to delete everything.
